This program is structured as a comprehensive full-arch esthetic rehabilitation curriculum integrating digital workflow as the execution platform.

Master the Foundation of DSD

PART 1 - Intense Lectures addressing

Week 1 (Days 1–4)

  • Facial and dentofacial analysis

  • Smile design

  • Anterior guidance, functional envelope and vertical dimension of occlusion

  • Esthetic challenges and management

  • Prosthetic modalities of esthetic problems

Part 2 : Implementation of Smile Design

Week 2 (Days 5–7)

  • Candidates will learn basic designing tools, tips and tricks to design single cases (Anterior & Posterior).

  • Candidates will learn how to design different prosthetic options: full coverage and partial coverage restorations.

  • Designing a simple anterior case: candidates will design 4 incisors that conform with smile design principles, guided by the instructors

Week 3 (Days 8–10)

  • Candidates will learn advanced designing tools and mirroring techniques.

  • Candidates will learn the designing of a complex smile design (Complex anterior case)

Day 11: Lecture on Clinic-lab Integration

What to Learn:

  • An informative lecture that will link what the candidates have learned so far and what they will learn in the rest or the workshop. They will learn how to integrate photographs into 3 smile design, provisionalization, mock up fabrication and lab transfer protocols.

Week 4 (Days 12-14)

What to Learn:

  • Candidates will learn how to smile design full arch cases and know how to tackle any challenges that will be faced

Week 5 (Days 15-17):

What to Learn:

  • Candidates will practice articulation of dentition while designing simple and complex smile design cases: occlusion and solving occlusion challenges.

  • Live demonstrations and multiple STL files will be available

    for supervised practice.

Week 6 (Days 18-20):

What to Learn:

  • Continuation of the live demos to brainstorm and fill any gaps. Also, multiple STL files will be available for further supervised practice and recap on all designs.

Week 7 (Days 21-22):

What to Learn:

  • Capstone case with final evaluation.
